One Chicken to Rule Them All!

Oh MidtownLunch, why do you ask the obvious? Well we are sure happy you did in any case. The widely read lunch blog’s recently posted poll pits BonChon’s (superior) Fried Chicken versus competitors from Mono Mono, Bann Next Door, and “He-Who-Must-Not-be Named” Voldemort… er, KyoChon.  Based on the results, it would seem that BonChon’s glorious chicken wins hands down at a count of 50% to runner up Mono Mono at 30% –no hanging chads here!

Chicken Fights Continue

This morning the NY Daily News ran a report comparing the multitudes of Korean Fried chicken restaurants in New York. While the article does mainly focus on Mono-Mono versus Kyochon versus BonChon, I guess the debate is still raging onwards as there are quite a few different variations out there and people just can’t decide. Take what you will from the article but in all honestly (being as unbiased as I can), BonChon is the winner hands down. The other competitors either seem to lack a certain something in the batter/sauce or otherwise are just plain greasy. We’ll be happy to throw our hat in the ring when the time comes. Thoughts?
